Remember the rainbow

Although the rain comes

And the winds blow

Although the clouds are gray

And the thunder roars

Although your heart flutters in fear with tears

The rainbow is there – my promise is with you

day after day, and year after year

Because behind it all, I’m still who I am

and will do just what I said I would do

and be all that you need me to be

The rainbow of promise to protect you from the evil stampede

Remember the rain, the beauty

Of my love for you

no matter how dark, grey and dreary it may seem,

I’m here with you til the end,

that’s my promise to you.
