Stand! = Be Bold, Be Courageous

Main Course: "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:7-9).

Whatever your situation or circumstance that you face today that seems insurmountable and unending, this is the Word of the Lord directly to you: "Be bold, be courageous, be strong." These words remind me of when God SAID, "Let there be.... light" (Gen. 1:3). Stand in your god-likeness, stand in what he created and not what you or others have imagined or created for you. To be bold, to be courageous, and to stand is the only way you are going to come out of this, rise up to the top and soar. These are not words of comfort and convenience, these are not words for the faint at heart, but words of being uncomfortable because there lies success and even good success. "Behold, be bold, be courageous, be strong, and stand because the Lord, I AM is with you." To be strong is to stand, to stand is to be bold and courageous (Josh 1:7-9; cf. Eph 6:10). Be strong and stand!
