Waiting on "Your Tired”

Main Course: If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me (Jeremiah 29:13). NLT

What has been the delay? (I’ve been asking this questions to myself for over a year now, well several years, every since I was laid off from full time work three years ago). The LORD makes it known to me (in midnight prayer at WVUMC), "I had to wait until you got tired, until you stopped looking? (1 Sam 9)." Looking for it on the jobs, the bosses, the opportunities to advance, the cars, vacations, the family, the money, the business, the friends, the networks, the moves …

Then He said, "because what you don’t understand is that it’s not about your provision, but it's about your promotion (your divine assignment). Your set time is NOW!. You keep looking for provision, what man has sent you/commissioned you to do out in the world, but there is another sending forth by your heavenly Father that’s waiting for you. So come and I will show you the Word of the Lord for your life (1 Sam 9:27; Zech 3; cf. Ezra 7:10; ref. 1 Cor. 2:9;). And as for provision? There is no good thing I will withhold from those who walk upright (Ps. 84:11; ref. Is. 40:4-5; 45:1-5)."

So my focus is not provision anymore, but Lord what would you have me to do? (Acts 6:9). Is God waiting on your surrender too? God patiently and lovingly waits until we have exhausted all our means, and then shows us something far more greater than just provision, but our promotion (our destiny in Him).
