#Jumpstart June - Power Surge
Main Course: He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water (Jn. 7:38). "Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes. For you will spread out to the right and to the left; your descendants will dispossess nations and settle in their desolate cities (Isaiah 54:2-3).
One word that particularly stands out in my mind for this month is POWER SURGE. Then there are two other words that are connected/related to the one main word: Expansion and Acceleration. I believe God is going to expand our territory and accelerate our efforts IF we get connected and stay connected to experience phenomenal results (Eph. 3:20; I Cor. 1:20). Now, when we speak of connection, this is not a network of people, but a work of the Spirit, connecting to the power of God through obedience to His Word (Rhema), period! Then he can rightfully connect and align you with your Helpers (1 Sam. 10:26).
Let's briefly define this term: power surges occur when the flow of electricity is interrupted, then started again, or when something sends electricity flowing back into the system.
What has been interrupted in your life, will come back and flow again; it will re-start itself again (Joel 2:25-26; 1 Sam. 30:8). Why? Because you are an incorruptible seed and His seed remains in you (1 Pet. 1:23; I Jn. 3:9; 5:18). How will things re-start? When you plug-in; whatever He has told you to do, that's your connection, that's your plug-in! Whatever plans you had concerning your goals, gifts, talents, anointing, motivation, finances, etc. is going to re-start. The power is already there waiting. Are you ready to plug-in/connect to the POWER to flow once again?
BONUS: Firstly, get in His presence (make it a point, a priority, be intentional) to gain the strength to keep doing what God has told you to do (Ps. 16:11; Nehm 8:10). This brings joy, a full measure of strength you'll need to accept and embrace God's Will in spite of your circumstances and/or your senses (cf. Heb. 12:2; 2 Cor. 5:7). Secondly, give Him praise, honor and glory: #1 it's the Will of God (I Thess. 5:18) and #2 your faith is strengthened (Rm 4:20). Thirdly and finally, attach your vertical connection with your horizontal connection, which is to do/say what you see or hear the Father say/do. Plain and simple, period! (cf. Jn. 10:9; Is. 55:12).
As a result, the power of God (the electricity) is going to start flowing again out of your belly. Something interrupted the flow in your belly, but there's a surge of power that's on the scene for those who have been waiting in the Upper Room (in God's presence) to restore everything the enemy has stolen from them. And when the spirit starts flowing again - overflowing, it's going to need somewhere to go. So enlarge your plans, hopes and dreams; it still won't be enough room to receive (Eph. 3:20).
