Health, Healing and Recovery

Main Course: Then your light (God's favor) will shine like the dawning sun, and you will quickly be healed. Your honesty will protect you as you advance, and the glory of the LORD will defend you from behind (Is. 58:8) CEV

How many times have we heard your health is your wealth? Well, this is what God thinks about both: He wishes that we live a healthy and prosperous life. 3 John 2 says, “Dear friend, I hope all is well with you and that you are as healthy in body as you are strong in spirit.”

This is God’s top priority for us and is mentioned numerous times in scripture throughout the Bible. It is obvious that our health is closely tied to our prosperity. When we are not healthy, simply put we are not able to do our best. God wants and desires that we are at our best every day to do His business (His work that He has assigned for us to do). If we are sick in our bodies, we only need to ask and receive our healing that was purchased on the cross (Is. 53:5).

Sometimes our healing comes instantaneously while at other times, it’s an uphill battle. Nevertheless, God is faithful to His Word. Let us not forget that when we receive our healing, we are to maintain our health as well by taking care of our bodies - the temple of the Holy Ghost so we can go on and do great things.

May God grant you good health in your spirit, soul, mind and body today. Expect your healing.. Expect a speedy recovery. Expect to recover all! Expect to be made whole.
