Peace

Main Course: You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You because he trusts in You (Isaiah 26:3).

Today it seems as though the world has gone awry. Our moral fiber and structure of our society is deteriorating, disasters and catastrophes as escalating, moral injustices and our waning values are ripping us apart at the seams, but yet in all this we shall not be moved. Why? Because we have the peace of God that Jesus left with us according to John 14:27. It says, "I am leaving you with a gift--peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don't be troubled or afraid.” This gift we must hold on to for dear life not just for our sanity, but also to thrive in the midst of fearful situations (Ps. 23:3). It is when we keep our mind on His Word that we stand out like a beacon of light to a dark world. So let God’s peace be your Light and expect to shine. Will you be the Light that the world is looking ans searching for?
