Push Through, Tear the Veil (Part II)

BONUS: 1 Pet. 1:7-9 indicates that this earthly reward is priceless and without measure: unspeakable joy. So we must be careful and stay prayerful so the enemy won’t trick us into believing that God is against us (turning on God, accusing him, judging him un-righteously, Is. 58:5; Ps. 23:3; Heb. 11:11; 10:23; cf. Ps. 139). The enemy perverts the ways of righteousness which means instead of you using that time, effort and energy to believe God, the truth, you spend that energy to believe a lie. And when you believe a lie, now the enemy has full control of that territory. He builds a stronghold of lies and deceit and continues to do so day after day, week after week, month after month and year after year until it is a mighty big fortress. He has you locked and trapped in it…Your spirit has light, but your mind is in the dark and because the devil is in charge of darkness, he will not cease to fully capitalize on the opportunity to destroy you….But know, no weapon formed against you will prosper, and God will work everything out for our good because you love Him and seek to do His will (Is. 54:17; Rms. 8:28).

We must do our part – work out our own soul salvation (Philp. 2:12) and then when we have maxed out on what to do, the power of the Holy Ghost reveals Himself (steps up alongside). A new level of power kicks in when you are weak to showcase the glory of God (2 Cor. 12:9; Ps. 34:2).

Are you still trying to decide which way you should go? Seeking God is always a sure guarantee, you can’t go wrong….because this is the path of righteousness for you, and will not God honor Himself? KEY: All he is waiting on is for our belief to come up to a level that understands that He is God and besides Him there is not another (Heb. 11:6). He uses circumstances and situations to bring us into alignment of His Will (Heb. 12:11; 5:8), to help move us toward the mark of a higher calling upon our lives. And if we answer this calling, yield to His Spirit, there is much joy in it for us because we know that God cannot lie and has already fulfilled His Word. Now (in that state of mind, heart and spirit, on one accord with His Word) we can receive the reward of trusting and believing in Him.

When you are faced with the Garden, you have to decide if you are going in – going to finish the course. However, you must consider all the victories you have won up to that point and armed with that knowledge, you get to decide whether you will abandon the course or abide in Christ - find “His Rest,” your inheritance (Jn. 15:1-7; Is. 43:21; 1 Pet. 2:9-10).
