Big Mama's House - Part II

In our Christian walk and journey through life, we are assigned to different spiritual houses to learn certain lessons regarding our transformation into the image of Christ. And the main house in which every person who is committed to the life of Christ must go through Big Mama Wisdom’s house (Prov. 4:7-9). She will straighten things out according to the master plan for your life. She will prepare the daily bread for you to eat (show you how, what, when and where to live your life). However she also has an assistant called, Patience (Luke 21:19; Jam. 1:3-4) and together, they work as a team. Wisdom builds your life and Patience preserves it.

If you want to live in Esther’s house (the House of Women) and receive her reward of promotion in this life, then you have no choice but to go to Big Mama’s house. There, Patience will help you go through the fire, and the Wisdom will discipline /teach you the fear of the Lord. Humility is the fear of the Lord; understanding and acknowledging that without Him you can do nothing and learning to abide in Him (Jn. 15:1-5; Prov. 8:17, 35). This is how Jesus moved about in his life on earth with total dependence on the Father (Jn. 5:19, 30; 8:29). Doing nothing on your own ensures that you are doing the perfect will of God. --(CONT'D)
