Awake to Truth. Awake to the New You!

Main Course: Yet you desired faithfulness even in the womb; you taught me wisdom in that secret place (Psalms 51:6).

The truth of God has already been revealed to us, His wisdom in our spirit, but the soul just needs to awaken to the consciousness of it (Ps. 51:6; Eph. 1:8-9). It has to awaken every day to the truth; what is true for us each day - that day so we’ll know what to do and how to do it. This is how we live, move and have our being (Acts 17:28).

Because we are a new creature in Christ, seated with Christ at the right hand of the Father, this is strange news to the soul who has lived in darkness since its inception (2 Cor. 5:17; Eph. 1:20; 2:6; Ps. 51:5). It goes without saying that God’s ways and thoughts are higher than ours, and we are totally clueless about knowing who God is, who we are and what we were born to do (Is. 55:8-9; Jn. 5:30; 10:30; 17:21). Therefore we are instructed to come and learn of Him (Matt. 11:28-30). In this process, a discipline is applied to the soul who is resistant to change/the things of God (Gal. 5:16-17; Heb. 12:11). But as it is renewed every day, awakened to truth, we are able to now start walking and following God’s plan for our life and reach our destiny for His glory (Josh. 1:7-9).

Remember: how you live is based on what you know (not what you think you know or what somebody else knows, or not even what you want to know). YOUR LIFE IS BASED ON TRUTH – WHAT YOU KNOW. Just make sure that what you know or how you live is true (based on truth).

It is when we increase in the knowledge of God, His truth that we can really live as Christ did while he was on earth. Awake to truth, awake to the new you! Are you awake?
