The Ultimate Achilles Heel (Part I)
Main Course: For we walk by faith; not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7)

Emotions and sight/senses: They are hindrances that keep us from growing in the knowledge of God. They oppose us at every corner when we are required to walk by faith. They are the servants on horses (Eccles. 10:7); they rule over our spirits (Gal 5:17; Rms. 7:18-25). Our souls are tied in a web of perversion which simply means it causes us to walk in the opposite direction of what is right for us as a spirit being (Heb. 12:1). Our emotions and sight become our enemies when they are not managed and even mastered because they will automatically work against us in trying to do the will of the Lord. This happens because of lack of exercise or discipline that’s needed to yield the peaceable fruits of righteousness (Heb. 12:11). Why is it that we don’t produce this fruit? It is because we don’t abide in Christ daily (Jn. 15:1-6; 2 Pet. 1:5-9). Only when we recognize we are seated here (in Christ); we live here now because we are alive in Christ that we experience His life (healing from all weaknesses: sicknesses, diseases and infirmities of the mind, body and soul. We are literally perfect in Him! (cont'd)
