Your word is law (Part I)
Main Course: You have tried my heart, you have visited me by night, you have tested me, and you will find nothing; I have purposed that my mouth will not transgress (Psalm 17:3). ESV
So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them (Genesis 1:27). NIV
Based on creation when God speaks, its law. So that means the words we speak (those created in His image and in His very own likeness) as well is law also. As His creation we carry the same attributes, characteristics and weight of authority (authorized dominion on earth) as a son a God.
Now if you are a sinner, your laws will always be overwritten because God's power is greater than Satan's, but if you are a born-again believer, you are the highest ranking authority on planet earth (there is other power greater than the Godhead Body, you are 2nd in command). Remember you live in heaven and execute/operate on earth. So if you are getting your orders from the headquarters, heaven itself, and speak what is there on earth (which is God’s Word), you are establishing God's law on earth (Is. 55:11; 46:10; Num. 23:19; Heb. 6:18). God's Word is law and we were created like Him, so our Word is law too; it carries the same level of authority and power, but the authority/leadership of the Holy Spirit. And of course if we break the rules, there's consequences for our contrary actions.
Let's stay on the good side of the law and renew our minds so we can always speak what God speaks. –cont’d
