3 Things Jesus knew - Part III

We must know as foundational truth who we are, a child of God; where we come from, God the Father; and our mission, His Will for our lives.
As we grow in this truth, building on this foundation we are led on the path of righteousness (Ps. 23:3), our steps are ordered by God to do that which is pleasing in His sight. Holy Spirit teaches us these core values and concepts which become our single focus to fulfill our purpose in life. Everything else outside of these parameters is truly just a waste of time. We squander and waste our whole entire lives searching for something of value when it is within us (Luke 17:21; 2 Cor. 4:7; Col. 1:27). Once born-again, “what Jesus knew” becomes the standard and framework that begins to orchestrate and shift our focus in a new direction, to re-prioritize our lives realizing that without Him we can do nothing – we are cannot benefit the Kingdom of God. If we take inventory of our lives, how our time is spent and align it to these foundational truths (what Jesus knew), we will see that we come up short (Rms. 3:23). However, we can remedy these shortcomings (a dysfunctional life) by putting God first, allow Holy Spirit to work through us to rectify situations so we can experience the life of Christ. Do you know what Jesus knew?
Bonus: John 7:16; 14:31; 17:5, 10, 18; 20:21
To name a few, Jesus came to …
give us everlasting life, abundant life
reconcile us back to the Father
restore the kingdom of God back to us
call sinners to repentance
bear fruit as first born among many brethren
do the Will of the Father on earth as it was in heaven
work the works of God while living on earth
be about the Father’s business
Do you know why you came to earth and what you are to do?
