Sacrifices of Righteousness - Part I

Main Course: He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver; he will purify the Levites and refine them like gold and silver. Then the Lord will have men who will bring offerings in righteousness … (Mal. 3:3; cf. Ps. 51:17; 4:5).

Sacrifices of righteousness (Lev. 7:37): burnt offering (heart), meat offering (Will of God), sin offering (distractions), trespass offering (forgiveness), and peace offering (mind).

What type of offering is Holy Spirit asking you to give at this particular time? Notice that the type of offering is just as important as how it is presented, which determines if it is acceptance by God (well done my son). You are already accepted in the Beloved; however God still requires the sacrifices of righteousness. It is the requirement of the position in Christ. Certain conditions must be met to experience the fullness – full benefits of the position as a son of God.

It is your duty created by grace that comes with your position in Christ Jesus. God tells us what He wants done and how He wants it done (this is how you live in and do the perfect will of God). This is how Jesus lived. He went to the Father every day to find out what God wanted Him to do and how God wanted it done (Jn. 5:3). We must do what God tells us to do and how he tells us to do it otherwise, (although He still loves us), it is not acceptable. God desires our best (whole heart….Luke 10:27).
