Get Connected - Part II

Many hearts lay heavy like a road with trees, branches and debris strewn on the ground after a bad storm. But now it's time to pick up the pieces, clear the land and move on to bigger and better things. For many of you, the storm has passed, but not in your mind. Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus (Philip 2:5). This is God’s mind - the mind of Christ and it can take you through and over victoriously even until death, like Jesus. This is the mind you must have to overcome the world (to experience that victory 1 John 5:4; Ps. 1:2). Otherwise, you will be like a feather in the wind. You must be violent in keeping prayer; you must be violent in drinking from the well of My Spirit daily; you must be violent in renewing your mind (Rms. 12:1; Josh 1:7-9; 1 Peter 5:8-9a) because He whom the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8:36)." Lord, may you send a violent spirit upon our lives so we can win cities for you, topple households, nations and governments (Jerm. 1:10). The Samaritan woman was used so mightily that the whole town came out to hear Jesus. They believed with their ears when they heard her; but they believed with their hearts when they heard Jesus (John 4:39-42). May people hear Jesus in us - His voice in our voice and believe in their hearts because that's where real change begins. Many people give their lives religiously to church service (even for a life time), but never give Jesus their hearts (this is how we will be judged on that Day). Will you live disconnected? Are you connected to the grace of God in your heart?
