A "No-fall," "No-fail" Life

Main Course: Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well-pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen (Hebrews 13:21; cf. Rms. 8:28-29).

I've struggled with a question for many years now (maybe even a decade) and that is Lord how will you keep me from falling (in a fallen world)? I just received the answer which has been right under my nose the whole time. I was enlightened to keep my destiny in front of me, and I won't fall or fail because God is with me (Josh. 1:5). My destiny is to be conformed into the image of His dear son and if I am like His Son, God can do anything through me and/or send me anywhere. The bonus: there is nothing good He will withhold from me (Ps. 84:11). God says to me, "stretch your faith, lengthen your stakes and run with me (Is. 54:1-5). Watch me invade your world on a level unprecedented, unknown and unseen to your human mind" (1 Cor. 2:8-9).

It makes sense now why King David said, "Lord show me the path of life." While he knew the destination, he just needed to know how to get there. Hence the question: where's the path to get there? What would you have me to do? (e.g. Paul). What must I do to be saved? (e.g. Philippian jailer).

The path of life (wisdom, knowledge, and direction) is found in His presence (Ps. 16:11; cf. Eccles. 2:26). From there, His Spirit will lead us to green pastures (Ps. 23:1-3; Jn. 10:9). A "no-fall," "no- fail" life is found only in Christ Jesus constantly embracing His image (Heb. 12:2; Rms. 8:29; Heb. 13:21). If you believe God is with you, then you can experience a perfect life in the midst of an imperfect world (Is. 60:1-2; Matt. 5:13-16).

How can you fall or fail with Christ in you the hope of glory? We must allow His Spirit to work in us and through us - true transformation, or else we will suffer the fate of having the Letter but no Spirit, having a form of godliness, but denying the power (2 Tim. 3:5; 2 Cor. 3:6).
