The 2nd coming: a different approach (Part II)
Purification is simply preparation for more, better or greater. But if we misinterpret or misunderstand the signals - the process of purification, we will continue to wonder in the wilderness and never cross over into our Land of Promise. Unfortunately, our lives will remain relatively the same because the soul (mind, will, and emotions) never crossed-over to experience more, better or the greater things of God and life (2 Pet. 1:3; 3 Jn. 1:2; Luke 12:32; Jerm. 29:11; Matt. 7:11).
To summarize, just like there is an appointed time for our salvation, there is an appointed time for our purification to move forward in life. Remember: purification is preparation, positioning that brings prosperity (God’s purposes revealed, e.g. Esther, Joseph, Daniel, etc.). As Matt. 11:28-30 states: “Come unto me all who are tired and laden with burdens and I’ll give you "rest” is referring to the soul (for us to come and rest; be restored back to our original condition of loving, trusting and relying on God, our Father for everything (Ps. 23:3). Tiredness, believe it or not can sometimes work to our advantage because in this state of mind, hopefully we will turn/come to Jesus and find rest, His peace that passes all understanding (Philip. 4:7).
There is peace when the wolf and the lamb can eat together, graze in the same field. When the soul (wolf-like nature) has been purged of its predatory instincts and learns the disciple of the spirit (lamb) - to be humble, gentle, and tenderhearted/sacrificial, they can both dwell together in harmony uniting us with our true destiny (Is. 65:25).
The 2nd coming is simply the Word made flesh, God's glory revealed through us; and yes there is even a set time for that to come to pass in our lives (Jn. 1:12; cf. Luke 1:80).
Are you ready for the 2nd coming where the soul crosses over to experience the promises of God (1 Cor. 1:20), to experience a new dimension of heaven on earth?
