The Feet of Favor - Part I

Main Course: The Lord recompense (repay) thy work, and a full reward be given thee of the LORD God of Israel, under whose wings thou art come to trust (Ruth 2:12).

Ruth out in the field had favor because she went in faith and God showed His pleasure by granting her His favor (Heb 11:6), but the greater blessing of abundance was Boaz, the person in her bloodline with Eph 3:20. He was a type and shadow of Jesus, our Redeemer that was to come and rescue us from a life of hardship, but His covenant with those who walked or moved in faith was the favor of God. This is obtained by humility and obedience to His Word regardless of how the situation looks to our senses. Favor was the blessing back then, but sonship in the kingdom (an all-access pass) was always God intention to redeem us back to our place of abundance that He gave us in the beginning (cont'd).
